Technical details of Key-Lite

Scope

Ultra light, double jacket construction, utilizing high strength ring spun and filament polyester fibers to deliver a highly abrasion resistant lightweight.

Jacket Construction

The outer jacket is mildew resistant and available with iconic “Key-Lok” polyurethane based polymer impregnation for additional abrasion and moisture resistance.

Abrasion

Hose assemblies shall be available with the special “Key-Lok” polyurethane based polymer impregnation for added abrasion resistance and ease in identification purposes. NFPA color options may be specified by the end user.

Lining

A dependable, polyurethane lining eliminates ozone deterioration while maintaining lightweight integrity of the hose.

Couplings

or forged Storz. Special threads or other custom features available 1961, on all Key-Lite diameters up to 3" shall be 1200 psi / 82 bar. Scope with current minimum requirements of NFPA 1962.

Performance and Standards

Lining KEY-LITE The lining shall be a single-ply extruded tube of synthetic polyurethane to resist ozone. Meets or exceeds NFPA 1961. UL listing applies by diameter and pressure rating.
